John Cornyn’s Cruel Summer

This is prelude.

John Cornyn has left Texans a foul legacy as he rubberstamped the policies of our universally (well, 82% at least) hated Bush Regime. A legacy of cruelty to undeserving Texans. A legacy of cruelty to Texans who cannot defend themselves against his onslaught of Bush/Cheney/Rove ideas. Failure to enact a sane and humane immigration policy. Failure to provide for our brave soldiers who lay it on the line every day. Failure to help our children maintain health standards that are expected elsewhere. A true failure. A cruel failure.

A cruel summer.

Rick Noriega has been called to duty once again. This time the task is to return our Texas junior senator, John Cornyn, to private practice.

Let us not fail in this endeavor. We sent astronauts to the moon within a decade. Surely we can turn out a hateful and cruel US Senator within 95 days.

Vote Democratic and most assuredly vote a straight Democratic ticket.

Give the Democrats the chance to do what Americans hope and pray for: the chance to get America back into the hands of the people, and out of the hands of the megalooters.

Down with kleptocracy. Up with Democracy.

And now, Bananarama.

By the way, the fat guy with the bolo tie? Don’t know. But give him a break. He could be me someday.

"It's a cruel, cruel summer...now you're gone."
