HD 102, which is a slightly Democratic–dominated district in and around Dallas, Texas is currently being held by State Rep Carol Kent. It is being contested by Republican candidate Stefani Carter.
Carter has a political figure that she likes to emulate. His name is Barack Hussein Obama.
And if you don’t believe me take a look at the video that The Lone Star Project put together comparing pieces of Carter’s stump speech along with pause and cadence of her speech mentor Barack Obama.
Yes, I agree with Carter. Obama is a great speaker. That keynote speech he gave at the 2004 Democratic National Convention was a memorable one.
Too memorable.
Carter obviously is banking on the fact that her audience will little note, nor long remember what Obama said there.
Oops.
Oh well, a good line is a good line.
