It has now been two full years since President Obama risked
his second term and went all in to bring an unsuccessful end to Osama bin Laden’s
miserable life. Two years is an eternity in your average American’s memory.
Americans believe the last thing you tell them, especially
if it agrees with their preconceived notions. So when Dubya was President Dubya
he went after the Saddam Hussein because he was a threat to the region and
because he killed his own countrymen.
WMD? What was all that about WMD?
So two years ago, Barack Obama ordered the execution of
Osama bin Laden, and Seal Team 6 made it so. This week George Bush launched
his presidential library, complete with “Decision Points” in which the
artful lie of the real reason Bush invaded Iraq is laid out for all to see.
