Half Empty Lite Number 3: What We Look For On The Internets

I just got a very interesting message from one of the search engines out there upon which I have one of my email accounts. They do this every year: publish the top ten searches that are made on their site for the year.

It is startling just what we are interested in. Typically, none of my searches showed up. I thought that as a public service I would lift that list out of the email message so that readers far and wide can see what we are most interested in.

Regarding the first of the four lists posted below, I have come to two conclusions

1. With the exception of the 5th item from the top in the first list, one can reasonably conclude that the average internet searcher is between 15 and 21 years old.

2. Every item in the first list is an item of entertainment. We as a western culture, are amusing ourselves to death (get it, it’s a good read).
