Smile. Two hundred and twenty-six years ago today the United States Constitution was formally signed by members of the First (and hopefully last) Constitutional Convention. It was ratified by the requisite number of states the next year.
So today we celebrate Constitution Day.
You know, with all the beer, piñatas and unbridled revelry.
Oh, wait, that's El Cinco de Mayo.
On Constitution Day we don't do a darn thing, do we?
And no, I didn't get a perfect score. I missed one. Had no idea which state eschewed the Constitutional Convention and guessed wrong.
